Language Survey
Language survey is the first step in our understanding the diversity of languages in Nepal.
SIL has provided technical support to the Linguistic Survey of Nepal (LinSuN), a project of the Central Department of Linguistics, TU to survey all of Nepal’s languages. The Linguistic Survey of Nepal concluded on January 9, 2018 (Paush 25, 2074), at which time SIL Nepal was awarded a letter of appreciation for logistic, academic, and financial support throughout the eight year duration of the LinSuN project.
